    December 22nd, 2021  |  2 hrs 25 mins
    esports, riot, valorant, vct

The Champions Skins making money for teams was a solid idea, but things get rather messy when the question of who should get the money from the sales start being asked. Do players deserve a lion's share of it, or do organizations have the right to claim it all? (skip to 2:13:38 for the discussion about it)

If this week's show is any indication, the offseason is going to be an absolute topsy turvy time of roster upheavals. Teams big and small are making splashes, T1 shifting players, Fnatic getting rid of coaches while 100Thieves promotes them. Nitro and Patiphan return to their old games and Pyth ends up.... in Singapore? What? We also take a long look at the upcoming 2022 season joined by Team Liquid's analyst @Howsthebacon9 which brings us a lot of fear and trepidation of the setup in NA because it look a bit bleak while EMEA has some real cool stuff happening, and who knows maybe Yoru will finally be changed for the better by the time the January signup dates for next season roll around!

We recap all of the matches in the playoffs to see just how KRU managed to bulldoze the competition all the way into the Semifinals, how Cloud9 and Team Liquid both disappointed in the end, and why Team Secret just might have all the ingredients to be next year's KRU surprise. Thanks to @aEvilcat and @HITSCAN - RyanCentral & Mysca for providing their insights into the matchups, with the fantastic matches and Riot's commitment to building up just a spectacular looking stage, we're all hyped about finally getting crowds to next year's tournaments!

    December 8th, 2021  |  2 hrs 39 mins
    esports, gaming, riot, valorant

Let's be real, Group stages for Champions has been absolutely wild. Sure sure, the EMEA squads of Gambit, Liquid, Acend, and surprisingly Fnatic has all made it out as #1 seeds, but they everyone dropped maps or showed weaknesses while doing so. NA has struggled (RIP Sentinels and Envy), but that means that we finally have smaller regions representing in the playoffs. Well, all except Korea with Vision Strikers getting bounced out, someone please make sure Achilios and Paperthin are doing alright out there ok?

Who will reign supreme in the end? Will Sentinels return to form? Can Gambit carry their dominance over from Masters? Or will the dark horse Vision Strikers prove @Paperthinhere and @AchiliosCasts right and win the entire thing? Whatever the case, the next week is going to be real fun!

    esports, gaming, riot, valorant

Hark, the trumpets of war from Champions blows in the distance! Players are already quarantining and possibly driving themselves mad like Boaster and Patiphan, but at least the group stages have been drawn and we can get down to speculating matchups and groups of death (It's group D btw). We also had @tanizhq of ex-Heretics and ex-SMB coaching fame come by to give an incredibly candid and illuminating interview, and lastly we take a look at just how G2 Gozen was able to secure victory in the latest Game Changes EMEA tournament!

The topsy turvy world of Valorant roster shuffles continues as TI courts Steel, TSM releases Hazed, and 100T drop FrosT. It's going to be a while before the next season begins, do any of these teams have a need to rush their rosters? We also take some time to look back at Team Liquid dominating RedBull Homegrounds, the rise of the Kansas City Pioneers and Pittsburgh Knights in the Valorant Elite Showdown, and we take a peek at the ongoing Game Changers EMEA Series 3. Oh yeah, and let's not forget there's this suave Daddy who got released in Chamber, and might just be ready to shake up some pro comps going forward!

  • Episode 75: Cloud9, XSET, EX T1 Coaches: "Rank does NOT matter!"

    November 10th, 2021  |  2 hrs 16 mins
    esports, gaming, riot, valorant

It's a lovely day as we managed to snag @officialfRoD, @Dream_val, and @SyykoNT to have a Coaches Roundtable to talk about what actually goes on in coaching rooms, what are the requirements to be one, and why MMR doesn't matter at all. In the meantime, the post-Champions roster shuffles continue as notable teams such as Nuturn, Andbox, and Faze make changes, while NIP packs up and moves everything to Brazil. Lastly Uber yells at RedBull for their terrible handling of their B-Stream during Homegrounds, and we marvel at how cool Arcane is and how well it's doing cross platform marketing!
